I have been using this Sony camera for wildlife photography. With the 61 megapixel photo you can really crop into photos. I'm very disappointed in the video. Stabilization is terrible. You can only use it if it's on a tripod. There has only been one firmware update for this camera which is disappointing. I'm sure there are some things that could be fixed. It's sad that an expensive camera like this doesn't have an integrated way to add gps metadata. There's a convoluted way you can send photos thru a phone but with giant file sizes this is not very practical.

I only use Sony cameras. They are top class. I have two of this model and 2 x A7RV. People have said they find the menu daunting but I do not. The menu gives one so many choices. It has many features. You can set your own custom white balance for instance. The choices of lenses is outstanding. I shoot daily and have never had a problem. The 61mp sensor is fantastic. If you need to crop you don't have to worry about the resolution. The colours are excellent too. Ii takes two cards so one can be out all day shooting in RAW and not run out of recording space, depending on which cards you buy. I always get the best I can.

Gran cámara y es de agradecer el funcionamiento de los objetivos Minolta con el adaptador LA-EA5

Compré la cámara a fines de Septiembre de 2025 y me encantó. Venía de otra marca y me acostumbré fácilmente a su uso. Tiene varias funciones que ayudan muchísimo. Recomendable.

Compré la cámara hace un par de meses y la uso sólo para fotografía por lo que no opinaré sobre sus características para vídeo ni de sonido. La calidad de imagen es simplemente excepcional (y mi término de comparación es otra cámara con sensor de 50 Mb) y los archivos RAW parecen poco o nada manipulados por el software de la propia cámara, lo cual en mi opinión es muy de agradecer. El manejo es sencillo e intuitivo y personalmente me parece un extraordinario acierto la posibilidad de emplear con adaptador los objetivos que ya poseía.

Purchased to supplement my A7R 111a, to help reduce the weight around my neck and shoulders from carrying my Nikon D850 for long periods. Delighted with the results, clean, sharp images, nice colours and saturation and amazing shadow recovery from Raw images. Love the responsiveness, focus speed and accuracy and appreciate the improved ergonomics over the mark 3.

I bought this camera as a second hand camera, though I suspect it was a demonstration model in mint condition. I ceased to be amazed at the quality of the images compared to my old a 99. I did find the camera a little small for my big hands, so added the adapter to it, making it easier to balance the lenses. The menus were a bit daunting at first but once I got used to them. As with the a 99. I now have no problem adjusting things as needed. Having used it for the last several months. I am well pleased. I made this choice.

After 8 weeks of careful scrutiny for wildlife scenes and casual photography I picked the a7m4 over the a7r5 I felt the 4 serves me better. I want to compose the image not rely on ai focusing. And I wanted good but not huge image sizes. Overjoyed. 24-105 and 70-200

The fantastic camera quality from it is amazing, but the menu system is very difficult to understand as are some of the terms used on pages and pages. focus is the best of any camera I have tried.

Compré la cámara en el mes de marzo/2025 y estoy en pleno rodaje. hasta ahora el balance es muy positivo.

Excelente cámara con muchas y muy buenas prestaciones que hay que ir conociendo y practicando para tener un buen manejo de la misma. Considero que podría tener una forma de raw algo más pequeño, nada que no se pueda solucionar con software.

Desde que cambié en 2021 a la marca Sony con una Sony A7iv, mi forma de ver la fotografía y la astrofotografía cambió, y lo hizo para bien.

Sin duda, la mejor cámara que ha pasado por mis manos. Más allá de razones tecnológicas, está cámara hace un cuadro de casi cualquier motivo o escena medio bien compuesta. Su sensibilidad para el matiz y la viveza cromática que imprime a las capturas incluso con luz deficiente me impresionan mucho y apenas exigen retoques. Técnicamente su versatilidad es asombrosa: fotografía urbana, deportiva, retrato, paisaje, nocturna... Se adapta a todo con un simple clic sobre la configuración memorizada al efecto. Todos mis objetivos Minolta AF trabajan a full gracias al adaptador LA-EA5.

La tengo desde hace tres semanas y no puedo decir que la controle enteramente pero me parece magnífica. Una full frame con las características de un formato medio.

I recently ordered sony a7r4a, i wqs using pentax dslr camera for long periods of time and sony is really handy and i enjoyed the viewfinder and the focus. Multi sd card slos are really helpful, colour depth and details are awesome. Thank you Sony for making such a wonderful camera.

La uso junto a un lente 200-600 de Sony para hacer fotos de aves. Poniendola en modo APS-C el objetivo se comporta como un 300-900 con la misma luminosidad y con una resolución de 24Mpixel.

I brought this camera 3 weks ago and i love the quality of images. the built is perfect for my hands and i like the menu system( ok a bit confusing in the begining ) but very well indicated how to use it. so far i love it.
