I purchased this a couple of weeks ago to go with my bravia 9 I had a q990d before and I thought it was really good but the sound quality from the ht a9 I'd a different level

I bought this just over a year ago. The sound is superb and it is easy to setup. However it has intermittently had audio drop outs. It was for a while possible to fix this by toggling the RF option in settings. However over the past 2 months it has got much worse. Sometimes the audio just stops outputting completely and I have to reboot the TV and set up the speakers all over again - but that does not always solve it. So, frequently I am spending 15 to 20 mins to get this to work again. It is so annoying that something so expensive has such a poor warranty. The retailer has said they cannot help. Expensive junk.

It would have been a great product had it not been for the audio drop outs that occur even with audio optimisation. This is because the WiFi technology that this product uses is prone to WiFi interference.

Mejor que las barras de sonido, calidad del sonido la verdad estoy muy satisfecho con mi compra es un gran producto.

Only tried the 4 speakers for a short period, they are well made and do generate a surround effect, however as a replacement for my old 7.1 surround system they are lacking base impact, both with music and especially sound effects. So I'm saving for one of the 2 available subs that are compatible. Another thing to consider on positioning, you may have to buy longer mains cables to get them ideally set-up.

This is an impressive for sound but the constant dropouts in sound when playing Atmos or other hi-res formats leaves you feeling why did I buy this. Changed constant settings as per manual but still dropouts, normally in the quieter passages too? 🤔

Llevo un mes con el producto, excelente sonido e inmersión.

I've had the soundbar for over a month now, connected to a Bravia 7 TV. Overall, it's an exceptional product. The spatial imaging is pretty good for the form factor of the soundbar, it does a good job of 'thowing its voice' to make the sound stretch beyond bar's physical limits. I have it connected to the TV to make the center channel the TV's speakers, so dialog is fantastic and not hard to understand as is way, way too common with recent movies. The only gripe is having to use the Bravia app on my phone to set up the soundbar, it would be nicer if I could do it on my TV. Except for that, it was worth the money.

Compre este producto, porque lo vi en promoción y según Sony, es lo mejor en sonido, sin embargo, lo he probado un par de semanas y presenta algunas desconexiones, lo he tenido que configurar un par de veces y en ocasiones se escucha entrecordo. cuando funciona bien el sonido es genial, pero si requiere mejorar el problema de sonido entrecortado.

I bought the Sony A9 sound system a few months ago. Fortunately for me, they came with a 14-day return policy. Although I liked them a lot, I returned them when I discovered the new Sony A9M2 had just been released. In my opinion, newer has to be better....and they are. Better looking and the sound is also better. I'm now waiting for to pair them up with the new Bravia 9 TV.

I cannot believe the poor sound quality of this product. A £30.00 radio offers better quality output. It will need a sub to create some balance but I can't risk another £600 on the off chance things improve

Had these for a few months now.. absolutely love the sound.. in particular, the surround sound.. for all types of content (ever stereo).. low volume listening is very clear too

Estuve buscando este equipo por mas de 2 años. A pesar de leer algunas reseñas algo negativas seguía esperanzado y confiado de un producto de la calidad de Sony. Y ahora que finalmente lo tengo, tengo que aceptar que mientras esta funcionando bien el sonido es simplemente Espectacular. Sin embargo, también hay muchos blinks, con lo que el sonido se pierde por unos breves segundos (1 ó 2) sobre todo si el contenido es por streaming (pero también pasa aun cuando la fuente del sonido es un Blu-ray o videojuego por ej). Incluso el producto ya viene con una pequeña hoja previniendo esto y las soluciones mas frecuentes (volver a calibrar, hacer unos ajustes en la configuración etc) lo cual soluciona el problema pero al cabo de unos minutos y dias siguientes vuelve a presentar el problema. En verdad ojala hagan algo (algun mejor software, que se yo) para que esto se pueda arreglar en el futuro porque cuando funciona ya lo dije es espectacular, pero muy desafortunado que tenga uno que estar corrigiendo la configuración cada 2 días. Para el costo de este equipo es simplemente inaceptable y esperemos puedan hacer una nueva actualización que mejore esto o bien sacar un mejor y nuevo modelo y cambiárnoslo sin costo.

Grande Prodotto . Facile da usare ed installare. Peccato per il canale centrale. Il centro sync funziona solo con i nuovi TV Sony e non con quelli che hanno qualche anno. Spero che gli ingegneri della Sony se vogliono possano risolvere il problema Buona Musica a tutti Valentino

Desde hace varios años he estado renovando el sistema de sonido con barras de sonido, teatro en casa, etc. El HT-A9 ha soprepasado mis expectativas con la tecnología 360 grados con un alcance de 10 m. manteniendo un gran equilibrio de sonido entre graves y agudos.Estoy muy satisfecho con la adquisición.

Espectacular!!! Y eso de que a veces pierde la señal NADA de NADA...

The sound quality is really good, but if you are living near block of flats with many wifi networks , you will suffer from sound dropouts. Sony should at least add the option to select the preferred wifi channel manually and also option to save the last used channel. As of now the system forgets the last used channel and you will again need to scan for good wireless channel every time you turn on the system.

We have had this sound system for a couple of weeks now and are still amazed at the clarity and depth of the sound. It was easy to install, and, as we love our music, we bought the woofer as well and this fills our living room with an incredible sound…..almost as though we were in a concert hall. I love it and am so glad we decided to buy this system.

Not bad for one little box. I think it's helped by using the Sony TV as the centre speaker. Disappointing there is only one HDMI and occasionally it's slow to respond
