Bought to pair with the 300 f2.8 and it works very well. Very happy with the results. Will experiment on my 70-200 f4 as that also works well with the TC14.

Compré este x2 exclusivamente para usarlo con un 200-600 de sony y para foto de luna. Y el veredicto, es que, es mejor no usarlo o no comprarlo, por que una foto tomada sin x2 y si le haces un poquito de zoom tiene más detalle que al montar este x2.

The 2X noticeably softens the fantastic performance of the 300 mm f/2.8, but I find that using Topaz's Sharpen AI renders the images satisfying. I assembled a 12-image, 300 Megapixel 600 mm with this teleconverter and the 300 mm, and it is very impressive. However, using just the 300 mm to cover the same area is really sharp and doesn't require AI sharpening.

Lo adquirí, para emplearlo con mis nuevos lentes, FE Sony GM II compatibles. Tengo expectativas muy alentadoras de que mis fotos sean de buenas a muy buenas (considerando los límites de su uso). Aún no lo he probado, espero hacerlo pronto y agregaré posteriormente otra reseña (probablemente con imágenes). Saludos

Compré este teleconvertidor hace 1 mes con un lente prime y no puedo estar más feliz. La calidad e la imagen es perfecta, aunque castiga la apertura un poco el detalle y la nitidez es estupenda. No lo recomiendo para un objetivo zoom que no sea hámster

Lo uso en un 70-200 f4, y funciona en f8, funciona muy bien con ISO automático, no pierde nitidez, muy contento con la compra

I had a lot of reservations on getting this 2x teleconverter as I have seen a lot of reports of significant optical quality loss and blurry images on the 100-400gm. I ordered it anyways to test for myself, knowing that I could just return it if the quality was not up to par. The 2x TC turns the 100-400mm to a 200-800mm. In APS-C crop mode on a full-frame Sony you get a 300mm-1200mm lens! Most of these shots I've included are at the far end of that range and excellent quality. I think the reports specific to the moon being blurry with the 2x TC relates to the fact that punched in to that extreme length there are a lot more variables at play. For one you need a really stable tripod and should manually focus on the moon to ensure it is crispy sharp. The rest of the photos i've included were using autofocus on a Sony a7c or a Sony a7s iii.

Lo uso con la A6700 y el SEL200600 para tener un 1200mm. Es mejor usarlo con mucha luz y un trípode robusto. El enfoque y la nitidez pueden sufrir un poco. Es mejor utilizarlo para sujetos que estén quietos, por el peso total y la sensibilidad a la vibración.

Perfect for my 100-400GM lens with no apparent loss of sharpness or detail. Obviously the aperture takes a small hit but with a modern full frame camera with good ISO ability this isn't really a problem in decent light.

Compré este teleconvertidor con cierta desconfianza por las criticas negativas que tenia, pero me llevé una gran sorpresa del rendimiento que me dió, el enfoque es super rápido y si bien la calidad de la toma si disminuye un poco, a ojo diría que un 3%-5% si lo usas para redes no se va a notar para nada... en pocas palabras excelente producto muy recomendado

Lo tengo junto con el 70200 hm 2.8 ssm 2 y va genial para fauna y fotografía de luna y cometas no puede velocidad el objetivo solo dos pasos de luz pero durante el día y para fauna poco importa

Image quality is still excellent even with this 2x teleconverter. The main drawback in using this is the effective aperture reduces by 2 stops and although this is well publicised, one of the effects of this is that focussing tends to be slower using the teleconverter compared with the main lens only.
